Best Muscle Cars

The Top TenX W

1 1969 Boss 429 Mustang

This is hands down the greatest and most fierce car the world will ever see. It’s style is the very characteristic other muscle cars try (AND FAIL) to imitate. Unoriginal models like the 69′ Camaro and the 70′ Dodge Challenger don’t stand a chance against this hell-raising machine. Definitely the right choice for #1.

This deserves the number 1 spot. It is the all time best muscle car ever. The camaro doesn’t stand a chance against this, neither does the charger or the firebird.

This list is stupid the 1960s mustangs were the best cars and they still are nothing will be are and I mean never will beat a ford FORD IS THE BEST!

Can’t beat the 429!

The 1969 Camaro is the best looking muscle car of all time.

My dad has always wanted one. I grew up always wanting one too. No other car has the heritage of a chevy!

Because their body style is revolutionary for the year and with the 427 they would kick a dodge charger any day of the week

This car is the bomb

3 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE

This car is beast, my use to have one and it was so bad butt and they are kinda cheap

This is where its at. It has power and beauty. My dream car is the 1970 Dodge Charger, black with black interior.

This car is potent and is the sole definition of pure American muscle, this car has the meanest purr and rumbles the ground when standing anywhere close to the car. This thing burns through gas with its 7.0 liter displacement, but that ‘merican muscle for ya!

Clearly the king of all

4 1970 Chevelle SS 454

The first car I ever owned and for only being 17 now it’s a hell of a good start. Back in the day these chevelle’s could easily dominate the drag strip 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and even on holidays! When you think of a muscle car the 70 Chevelle SS is what you think of. Not to mention the only cars on this list that are actually muscle cars are the Charger, and this beast. The rest are really pony cars. God Bless America. We are the only country in the world with the talent to build all these cars on this list. Think to yourself, what do you want to drive. A toyota prius or a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. It’s your choice.

I see a list of 7 pony cars and 3 real muscle car. Shame. The 70 Chevelle had over 500 horsepower out of the box, a balance of straight and curved body lines, and a menacing look. Just don’t put on chrome rims and you have one of the nastiest, most powerful cars to be produced with 8 cylinders. This American monster packs more power than the “worlds most powerful production V8” in the Mercedes SLS AMG. Seriously, how is this not number 1?

Great car, big engine, manly feeling. It’s everything you can ask from a muscle car. I’d have one any time of the year. It’s the car of my dreams. If you have this car you don’t need a house, you just need a garage to work on it, and you will know you’ve won the happiness lottery.

I owned a 70 Chevelle SS, best Muscle car on the ROAD in handling and looks and speed AWESOME car..

Not exactly very streamlined or anything like a Lamborghini Gallardo but in a way it looks super cool, the front of it just says

    Small and substantial: Hyundai Elantra

There s a lingering perception among some car buyers that small cars must be cheap and tinny. For those who still believe that, I challenge you to check out the Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra s cabin is fitted out with materials befitting a luxury car, even in the entry-level GLS model. It s got as much passenger and trunk space as mid-size sedans from just a few years ago, and because of it s small size and aerodynamic shape, it gets very good fuel economy.

    Modern-day muscle cars of 2014

Muscle cars are part of an enduring high-speed American subculture that originated in the 1960s. But the era is far from over, and modern-day muscle cars for 2014 are making their debuts in showrooms at this very moment.

Karl Brauer, a senior director at the car valuation and analysis company Kelley Blue Book. provided his list of classic muscle cars in April. Today, CNBC.com presents his list of muscle cars for 2014, and what consumers can expect to pay for them.

“When it comes to American muscle cars they sure don’t make them like they used to. they make them much better,” he said. “With engines capable of producing between 400 and 650 horsepower, and zero-to-60 times approaching 3 seconds, the modern American performance car could chew the original 1960s versions into tiny bits of bias-ply rubber, and that’s in a straight line. Throw in some turns and hard braking and your classic American muscle car offers as much control and precision as a napalm blast.”

That’s quite an endorsement, but can these new vehicles really compare with the classics that Brauer ran down for us six months ago? Read CNBC.com’s list of top modern-day muscle cars to find out.

    10 best tablets for kids #ten #best #tablets

    #

In the consumer electronics world there are two types of parents: Those that are interested in buying tablet computers for their kids and those that are staunchly opposed to doing so. For the latter group, a large part of that rejection comes from price. Electronics are, after all, pretty expensive. Considering how often kids tend to drop or otherwise destroy things, spending hundreds of dollars in a device that may before long be destroyed isn’t too bright of an investment. Price-wary parents should be soothed, however, by the fact that, like most things, tablets vary greatly in price. Here’s a list of seven kid-friendly tablets ranging from under a hundred dollars to five hundred bucks.

Bridging the gap between the LeapPad and more high-end devices is the Nabi, an Android tablet for kids. Netflix-ready, the Nabi’s 7-inch screen can display video in 1080p. While most kids may not care about that detail, most will enjoy the tablet’s ability to let them play popular mobile games, browse the web, and read books. Amazon offers one thousand illustrated children’s titles, all of which take advantage of the tablet’s 7-inch screen. Top 10 Autoresponders and Email Marketing Tools

One of the first questions new (and even experienced) marketers often ask is: “What’s the best autoresponder service or email marketing tool?” Autoresponders and email marketing tools are some of the most important parts of your business. You use it to follow-up with customers. To keep people coming back to your site. To build loyalty. To make sales. Yet the answer is often not so clear cut. Do you want the highest deliverability possible? Do you want to import offline contacts? Do you want to integrate your list management with a shopping cart? Do you want to spend $20 a month or $500 a month? The answer to these questions all yield very different answers. Here are the top 10 autoresponder tools on the market, along with who they’re for and what they’re capable of.

    Tool #1: Aweber

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

If you’re managing a list in the hundreds, thousands or low tens of thousands and you only collect leads through the internet, then there’s no better service than Aweber. Aweber doesn’t really allow you to add leads from offline sources. However, for online lists, Aweber sports the best deliverability ratings on the market. If you’re primarily using online opt-in forms, use Aweber. Your emails will get delivered, opened and clicked on.

    Tool #2: MailChimp

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

MailChimp is a fantastic place for beginning marketers to get started. Their “forever free” plan allows you to create a list on MailChimp for free as long as your list is under 500 users. When you’re just starting out, that’s more than enough. If you don’t want to start paying for autoresponders yet, go ahead and give MailChimp a shot, it is a great first step as an email marketing tool.

    Tool #3: iContact

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

iContact is a great choice for small to medium sized marketers who do want to import outside lists. iContact allows you to add people to your list manually or through import.

    Tool #4: Constant Contact

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

If you’re a fan of HTML or graphical emails, Constant Contact can be great choice as an email marketing tool. Again, they’re geared primarily for marketers who have lists in the hundreds, thousands or low to mid tens of thousands.

    Tool #5: InfusionSoft

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

InfusionSoft is the tool of choice for serious marketers. If you run a six figure online business or have a list larger 50,000 subscribers, this may be the tool for you. InfusionSoft combines your shopping cart with email marketing, so you can do complex things like segregate your buyers from your subscribers or mail specific sequences to specific people. You can also send physical postcards from InfusionSoft. InfusionSoft isn’t cheap. The monthly subscription is in the hundreds, and there’s a four figure setup fee. It’s geared towards companies that are already successful and need powerful solutions, rather than startups.

    Tool #6: GetResponse

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

GetResponse is a solid autoresponder choice for small businesses. It’s also geared primarily towards list sizes of mid tens of thousands or fewer. They have a strong reputation in the industry and offer a wide variety of features.

    Tool #7: 1ShoppingCart

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

If you want to integrate your email with your shopping cart but don’t quite want to spring for InfusionSoft, 1ShoppingCart could be your answer. 1ShoppingCart is a one stop solution for payment processing and email marketing. It allows you to segregate lists and mail only buyers or your entire list. It’s one of the more reputable shopping cart services on the net.

Be warned however, their deliverability rates simply aren’t as high as a dedicated email marketing service. You save time and money by just having one shopping cart rather than a shopping cart and an autoresponder, but it’s not without tradeoffs.

Tool #8: Autoresponse Plus (ARP Reach)

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Autoresponse Plus, also known as ARP Reach, is the autoresponder of choice for doing co-registration. You can certainly use the software to do standard email marketing as well. However, if you’re buying leads and need those fresh leads to be mailed instantly, Autoresponse Plus has one of the most solid reputations in the industry.

    Tool #9: Campaign Monitor

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Campaign Monitor is email marketing built for the data driven business. All your data, including open rates and clicks, can be tracked using a Google Analytics-like interface.

If you want to split test emails or carefully track what topics do better than others, give Campaign Monitor a spin.

    Tool #10: Office AutoPilot

Office Autopilot is a tool that adds a layer of sophistication to the standard autoresponder service. You can almost “program” Office Autopilot to do various different tasks with their if-then rules.

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Essentially, you can tell Office Autopilot what to do if certain things occur. For example, if a customer places an order, you can send an order to your fulfillment house to fulfill that order. Or if a customer leaves, you can send them a last minute special offer. Just select the trigger for the action, then select what list it applies to then select what to do when that action is trigger.

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Office Autopilot plans all start at above $200 a month. These are the top 10 autoresponder and email marketing tools on the market today. You have options all the way from free to several hundred dollars a month, from basic functionality to complex analytics and shopping cart integration. The one you pick depends entirely on where your business is and what it needs.

    Bonus Tool: AddressTwo.com

This is our preferred tool. Not only an email marketing tool, but a sales customer relationship manager. A simple CRMsoftware for managing the important relationships in your small business. With the easy-to-use toolset, you ll be amazed at how relationships seem to grow automatically.

    Summaries for VCX Gene

Entrez Gene Summary for VCX Gene

This gene belongs to the VCX/Y gene family, which has multiple members on both X and Y chromosomes, and all are expressed exclusively in male germ cells. The X-link members are clustered on chromosome Xp22 and Y-link members are two identical copies of the gene within a palindromic region on Yq11. The family members share a high degree of sequence identity, with the exception that a 30-bp unit is tandemly repeated in X-link members but occurs only once in Y-link members. The VCX gene cluster is polymorphic in terms of copy number; different individuals may have a different number of VCX genes. VCX/Y genes encode small and highly charged proteins of unknown function. The presence of a putative bipartite nuclear localization signal suggests that VCX/Y members are nuclear proteins. This gene contains 10 repeats of the 30-bp unit. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

The Ten Coolest Car Keys Ever Made

Forget start buttons! Cars should have proper keys. Or tiny pieces of art you can slide into your pocket. Remember, they’re tools for making your machine come alive.

    9.) Subaru STI

When it came out, there was some press about how it was a rally kill switch design, and threw around WRC references and such. Its also semi rare, since in 05 they put inhibitors in all of the cars, and they had to switch the key design to something more traditional. Even though my 06 has the inhibitor, I still have this key. The beauty in the key is its design and functionality. When you turn the key, the way it feels in your hand, it feels like a big switch. Its hard to describe, but its a very engaging way of engaging the starter, a simpler mechanism that when used, feels completely engineered to do one thing, start the car. In a day when keys are rarely even needed, and the turn of the key is replaced by a less engaging button press, I appreciate it more.

Welcome to “My Ten Favorite Cars”

I love cars! It doesn’t get any more simple than that. All cars interest me, but what really gets me percolating is exotic cars. You know the kind. supercars. Cars with gusto, machines that demonstrate a man is a man. I love speed, elegance and expense. So, I thought about it, and I see these lists everywhere for the “best this” and the “top five that”, and then it hit me. Why not compose my own top ten list for the coolest cars in the world. I am sure others would love to read about these fantastic models, most of which are icons in the racing and automotive worlds. In fact, you are here now reading this introduction, consequently, I have to assume that you are interested in hearing about my ten favorite cars.

Well, I won’t keep you waiting. I will unveil the list right away, but be sure to read each individual article on these supercars, because you won’t feel the full exuberance and exhilaration unless you do. You must envelope yourself in the world of exotic vehicles. To be sure, you must want to know about these cars, as much as I want to show you the list. So before we move on, I welcome you to my site, and hope you enjoy my ten favorite cars.

Just to let you know, the cars on the following list are not placed in any particular order. That means that the first car is not necessarily my coolest pick. On the contrary, I am not sure if I can really choose my absolute favorite out of the ten. Anyway, here we go, my list of:

    The Ten Coolest Cars

As you can probably surmise, these are the vehicles that we all dream of owning. Never mind even owning any of these magnificent vehicles, just having the opportunity to drive one would be a lifetime experience for most people. Moreover, most of these cars, if not all, are considered street legal race cars. That means that several like Bugatti and Ferrari have serious racing experience such as Formula One, and want to appeal to customers who desire both the speed and the luxury. The McLaren F1 deserves a special mention, as it goes down in history as the first road-supercar, the fastest, and the most expensive of its time.

Driving any one of these cars is not for the faint of heart, though. Total control is a must. So is a hefty pocketbook, both for the price of the cars, and for the ensuing fines, if you expect to drive any of these to maximum speeds. Street legal, of course, does mean that the law accepts these speeds. And, think about the insurance!

I read a quote from Top Gear Magazine about the Ultimate Aero, on the official Shelby SuperCars website. It read, “It’s violent, bonkers, near malicious”. I think that sums up my thoughts exactly on the car’s speed and performance.
