Top 10 Credit Card Companies in the World

Ever wonder who the top credit card issuers in the world are? Or just in the United States? Well, you can put your wonders to rest.

As of the end of February, there were 576 million credit cards in circulation in the United States alone, according to CNBC.

And U.S. consumer revolving debt was an astounding $864.4 billion as of the beginning of the year, with 98% of it tied to credit card debt.

So who are the top issuers of all these credit cards, you ask? See the complete list of top credit card issuers below.

Top 10 Credit Card Issuers in the World

1. Bank of America/MBNA – $194.7 billion (includes credit cards from US, UK, Ireland, Canada, and Spain)
2. Chase – $184 billion, 119.4 million credit cards (top U.S. credit card issuer)
3. Citi – $148.9 billion, 92 million credit cards in U.S. circulation (2nd largest U.S. issuer)
4. American Express – $105 billion
5. Capital One – $68.8 billion (nearly 7% of U.S. credit card market)
6. HSBC – $58.5 billion (only 2% of business is U.S. based)
7. Discover – $49.6 billion, 54.4 million credit cards in circulation
8. Wells Fargo – $36.4 billion, 17.3 million credit cards issued in U.S.
9. Barclays – $32.6 billion (UK)
10. Lloyds TSB/HBoS – $19.3 billion (UK)

Well, you may be surprised to hear that Bank of America was the leader, with $194.7 billion in credit issued. Talk about a massive collective credit limit. However, that figure includes business outside the U.S. in places like the UK, Canada, and Spain.

The most popular card is the company s BankAmericard Cash Rewards credit card. which comes with tiered cash back rewards categories that do not rotate.

Chase came in a close second with $184 billion in credit issued via 119.4 million credit cards, though it is the largest credit card issuer in the United States. The New York City-based bank is in nearly every other U.S. household in some shape or form, which is clearly scary for you too-big-to-fail worrywarts.

Popular Chase credit cards include the Chase Freedom card and the Chase Sapphire card. both of which offer big cash back bonuses.

The third largest credit card issuer was Citi, with $148.9 billion in credit issued via 92 million credit cards. It is the second largest U.S. credit card issuer. One of their newer credit cards is the Citi Simplicity card. which aims to be fee-free with clear rules.

They ve also been the most aggressive issuer in the balance transfer market, offering 0% APR for as long as 24 months at one time, which isn t quite as long as the longest offer in the UK.

In a surprising fourth place was American Express, with just $105 billion in outstanding credit. While they re perhaps the most ubiquitous name in the credit card world, they are nowhere near the largest.

Perhaps because many merchants still don t accept American Express, and opt for Visa and/or MasterCard instead.

Amex has a ton of credit card options, from the pricey Platinum Card all the way to the annual fee-free Blue Cash Everyday card. along with everything in between.

Rounding out the top five was Capital One, with a much smaller $68.8 billion in credit extended. The company is definitely growing, though it will be difficult to move any higher on this list without some sort of miracle.

They offer the popular Capital One Cash Credit Card. which comes with 50% more cash back, along with the well-known Capital One Venture Card. a travel rewards credit card.

If you’re curious where Visa and MasterCard are on this list, note that they’re not credit card issuers, but rather payment processing companies. Plenty of the issuers on this list offer both Visa and MasterCard-branded credit cards.

Best Muscle Cars

The Top TenX W

1 1969 Boss 429 Mustang

This is hands down the greatest and most fierce car the world will ever see. It’s style is the very characteristic other muscle cars try (AND FAIL) to imitate. Unoriginal models like the 69′ Camaro and the 70′ Dodge Challenger don’t stand a chance against this hell-raising machine. Definitely the right choice for #1.

This deserves the number 1 spot. It is the all time best muscle car ever. The camaro doesn’t stand a chance against this, neither does the charger or the firebird.

This list is stupid the 1960s mustangs were the best cars and they still are nothing will be are and I mean never will beat a ford FORD IS THE BEST!

Can’t beat the 429!

The 1969 Camaro is the best looking muscle car of all time.

My dad has always wanted one. I grew up always wanting one too. No other car has the heritage of a chevy!

Because their body style is revolutionary for the year and with the 427 they would kick a dodge charger any day of the week

This car is the bomb

3 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE

This car is beast, my use to have one and it was so bad butt and they are kinda cheap

This is where its at. It has power and beauty. My dream car is the 1970 Dodge Charger, black with black interior.

This car is potent and is the sole definition of pure American muscle, this car has the meanest purr and rumbles the ground when standing anywhere close to the car. This thing burns through gas with its 7.0 liter displacement, but that ‘merican muscle for ya!

Clearly the king of all

4 1970 Chevelle SS 454

The first car I ever owned and for only being 17 now it’s a hell of a good start. Back in the day these chevelle’s could easily dominate the drag strip 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and even on holidays! When you think of a muscle car the 70 Chevelle SS is what you think of. Not to mention the only cars on this list that are actually muscle cars are the Charger, and this beast. The rest are really pony cars. God Bless America. We are the only country in the world with the talent to build all these cars on this list. Think to yourself, what do you want to drive. A toyota prius or a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. It’s your choice.

I see a list of 7 pony cars and 3 real muscle car. Shame. The 70 Chevelle had over 500 horsepower out of the box, a balance of straight and curved body lines, and a menacing look. Just don’t put on chrome rims and you have one of the nastiest, most powerful cars to be produced with 8 cylinders. This American monster packs more power than the “worlds most powerful production V8” in the Mercedes SLS AMG. Seriously, how is this not number 1?

Great car, big engine, manly feeling. It’s everything you can ask from a muscle car. I’d have one any time of the year. It’s the car of my dreams. If you have this car you don’t need a house, you just need a garage to work on it, and you will know you’ve won the happiness lottery.

I owned a 70 Chevelle SS, best Muscle car on the ROAD in handling and looks and speed AWESOME car..

Not exactly very streamlined or anything like a Lamborghini Gallardo but in a way it looks super cool, the front of it just says

    Small and substantial: Hyundai Elantra

There s a lingering perception among some car buyers that small cars must be cheap and tinny. For those who still believe that, I challenge you to check out the Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra s cabin is fitted out with materials befitting a luxury car, even in the entry-level GLS model. It s got as much passenger and trunk space as mid-size sedans from just a few years ago, and because of it s small size and aerodynamic shape, it gets very good fuel economy.

    Modern-day muscle cars of 2014

Muscle cars are part of an enduring high-speed American subculture that originated in the 1960s. But the era is far from over, and modern-day muscle cars for 2014 are making their debuts in showrooms at this very moment.

Karl Brauer, a senior director at the car valuation and analysis company Kelley Blue Book. provided his list of classic muscle cars in April. Today, CNBC.com presents his list of muscle cars for 2014, and what consumers can expect to pay for them.

“When it comes to American muscle cars they sure don’t make them like they used to. they make them much better,” he said. “With engines capable of producing between 400 and 650 horsepower, and zero-to-60 times approaching 3 seconds, the modern American performance car could chew the original 1960s versions into tiny bits of bias-ply rubber, and that’s in a straight line. Throw in some turns and hard braking and your classic American muscle car offers as much control and precision as a napalm blast.”

That’s quite an endorsement, but can these new vehicles really compare with the classics that Brauer ran down for us six months ago? Read CNBC.com’s list of top modern-day muscle cars to find out.

    10 best tablets for kids #ten #best #tablets

    #

In the consumer electronics world there are two types of parents: Those that are interested in buying tablet computers for their kids and those that are staunchly opposed to doing so. For the latter group, a large part of that rejection comes from price. Electronics are, after all, pretty expensive. Considering how often kids tend to drop or otherwise destroy things, spending hundreds of dollars in a device that may before long be destroyed isn’t too bright of an investment. Price-wary parents should be soothed, however, by the fact that, like most things, tablets vary greatly in price. Here’s a list of seven kid-friendly tablets ranging from under a hundred dollars to five hundred bucks.

Featuring motion controls, touch input, HD output, and over two-hundred points of pressure sensitivity, the uDraw tablet is pretty capable for a device with its price.

Bridging the gap between the LeapPad and more high-end devices is the Nabi, an Android tablet for kids. Netflix-ready, the Nabi’s 7-inch screen can display video in 1080p. While most kids may not care about that detail, most will enjoy the tablet’s ability to let them play popular mobile games, browse the web, and read books. Top 10 Autoresponders and Email Marketing Tools

One of the first questions new (and even experienced) marketers often ask is: “What’s the best autoresponder service or email marketing tool?” Autoresponders and email marketing tools are some of the most important parts of your business. You use it to follow-up with customers. To keep people coming back to your site. To build loyalty. To make sales. Yet the answer is often not so clear cut. Do you want the highest deliverability possible? Do you want to import offline contacts? Do you want to integrate your list management with a shopping cart? Do you want to spend $20 a month or $500 a month? The answer to these questions all yield very different answers. Here are the top 10 autoresponder tools on the market, along with who they’re for and what they’re capable of.

    Tool #1: Aweber

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

If you’re managing a list in the hundreds, thousands or low tens of thousands and you only collect leads through the internet, then there’s no better service than Aweber. Aweber doesn’t really allow you to add leads from offline sources. However, for online lists, Aweber sports the best deliverability ratings on the market. If you’re primarily using online opt-in forms, use Aweber. Your emails will get delivered, opened and clicked on.

    Tool #2: MailChimp

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

MailChimp is a fantastic place for beginning marketers to get started. Their “forever free” plan allows you to create a list on MailChimp for free as long as your list is under 500 users. When you’re just starting out, that’s more than enough. If you don’t want to start paying for autoresponders yet, go ahead and give MailChimp a shot, it is a great first step as an email marketing tool.

    Tool #3: iContact

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

iContact is a great choice for small to medium sized marketers who do want to import outside lists. iContact allows you to add people to your list manually or through import.

    Tool #4: Constant Contact

    Top ten email marketing

If you’re a fan of HTML or graphical emails, Constant Contact can be great choice as an email marketing tool. Again, they’re geared primarily for marketers who have lists in the hundreds, thousands or low to mid tens of thousands.

    Tool #5: InfusionSoft

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

InfusionSoft is the tool of choice for serious marketers. If you run a six figure online business or have a list larger 50,000 subscribers, this may be the tool for you. InfusionSoft combines your shopping cart with email marketing, so you can do complex things like segregate your buyers from your subscribers or mail specific sequences to specific people. You can also send physical postcards from InfusionSoft. InfusionSoft isn’t cheap. The monthly subscription is in the hundreds, and there’s a four figure setup fee. It’s geared towards companies that are already successful and need powerful solutions, rather than startups.

    Tool #6: GetResponse

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

GetResponse is a solid autoresponder choice for small businesses. It’s also geared primarily towards list sizes of mid tens of thousands or fewer. They have a strong reputation in the industry and offer a wide variety of features.

    Tool #7: 1ShoppingCart

    Top ten email marketing

If you want to integrate your email with your shopping cart but don’t quite want to spring for InfusionSoft, 1ShoppingCart could be your answer. 1ShoppingCart is a one stop solution for payment processing and email marketing. It allows you to segregate lists and mail only buyers or your entire list. It’s one of the more reputable shopping cart services on the net.

Be warned however, their deliverability rates simply aren’t as high as a dedicated email marketing service. You save time and money by just having one shopping cart rather than a shopping cart and an autoresponder, but it’s not without tradeoffs.

Tool #8: Autoresponse Plus (ARP Reach)

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Autoresponse Plus, also known as ARP Reach, is the autoresponder of choice for doing co-registration. You can certainly use the software to do standard email marketing as well. However, if you’re buying leads and need those fresh leads to be mailed instantly, Autoresponse Plus has one of the most solid reputations in the industry.

    Tool #9: Campaign Monitor

    Top ten email marketing

Campaign Monitor is email marketing built for the data driven business. All your data, including open rates and clicks, can be tracked using a Google Analytics-like interface.

If you want to split test emails or carefully track what topics do better than others, give Campaign Monitor a spin.

    Tool #10: Office AutoPilot

Office Autopilot is a tool that adds a layer of sophistication to the standard autoresponder service. You can almost “program” Office Autopilot to do various different tasks with their if-then rules.

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Essentially, you can tell Office Autopilot what to do if certain things occur. For example, if a customer places an order, you can send an order to your fulfillment house to fulfill that order. Or if a customer leaves, you can send them a last minute special offer. Just select the trigger for the action, then select what list it applies to then select what to do when that action is trigger.

    Top ten email marketing

    Top ten email marketing

Office Autopilot plans all start at above $200 a month. These are the top 10 autoresponder and email marketing tools on the market today. You have options all the way from free to several hundred dollars a month, from basic functionality to complex analytics and shopping cart integration. The one you pick depends entirely on where your business is and what it needs.

    Bonus Tool: AddressTwo.com

This is our preferred tool. Not only an email marketing tool, but a sales customer relationship manager. A simple CRMsoftware for managing the important relationships in your small business. With the easy-to-use toolset, you ll be amazed at how relationships seem to grow automatically.

    VCXGene (Protein Coding)

    Summaries for VCX Gene

Entrez Gene Summary for VCX Gene

This gene belongs to the VCX/Y gene family, which has multiple members on both X and Y chromosomes, and all are expressed exclusively in male germ cells. The X-link members are clustered on chromosome Xp22 and Y-link members are two identical copies of the gene within a palindromic region on Yq11. The family members share a high degree of sequence identity, with the exception that a 30-bp unit is tandemly repeated in X-link members but occurs only once in Y-link members. The VCX gene cluster is polymorphic in terms of copy number; different individuals may have a different number of VCX genes. VCX/Y genes encode small and highly charged proteins of unknown function. The presence of a putative bipartite nuclear localization signal suggests that VCX/Y members are nuclear proteins. This gene contains 10 repeats of the 30-bp unit. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

The Ten Coolest Car Keys Ever Made

Forget start buttons! Cars should have proper keys. Or tiny pieces of art you can slide into your pocket. Remember, they’re tools for making your machine come alive.

    9.) Subaru STI

When it came out, there was some press about how it was a rally kill switch design, and threw around WRC references and such. Its also semi rare, since in 05 they put inhibitors in all of the cars, and they had to switch the key design to something more traditional. Even though my 06 has the inhibitor, I still have this key. The beauty in the key is its design and functionality. When you turn the key, the way it feels in your hand, it feels like a big switch. Its hard to describe, but its a very engaging way of engaging the starter, a simpler mechanism that when used, feels completely engineered to do one thing, start the car. In a day when keys are rarely even needed, and the turn of the key is replaced by a less engaging button press, I appreciate it more.

Welcome to “My Ten Favorite Cars”

I love cars! It doesn’t get any more simple than that. All cars interest me, but what really gets me percolating is exotic cars. You know the kind. supercars. Cars with gusto, machines that demonstrate a man is a man. I love speed, elegance and expense. So, I thought about it, and I see these lists everywhere for the “best this” and the “top five that”, and then it hit me. Why not compose my own top ten list for the coolest cars in the world. I am sure others would love to read about these fantastic models, most of which are icons in the racing and automotive worlds. In fact, you are here now reading this introduction, consequently, I have to assume that you are interested in hearing about my ten favorite cars.

Well, I won’t keep you waiting. I will unveil the list right away, but be sure to read each individual article on these supercars, because you won’t feel the full exuberance and exhilaration unless you do. You must envelope yourself in the world of exotic vehicles. To be sure, you must want to know about these cars, as much as I want to show you the list. So before we move on, I welcome you to my site, and hope you enjoy my ten favorite cars.

Just to let you know, the cars on the following list are not placed in any particular order. That means that the first car is not necessarily my coolest pick. On the contrary, I am not sure if I can really choose my absolute favorite out of the ten. Anyway, here we go, my list of:

    The Ten Coolest Cars

As you can probably surmise, these are the vehicles that we all dream of owning. Never mind even owning any of these magnificent vehicles, just having the opportunity to drive one would be a lifetime experience for most people. Moreover, most of these cars, if not all, are considered street legal race cars. That means that several like Bugatti and Ferrari have serious racing experience such as Formula One, and want to appeal to customers who desire both the speed and the luxury. The McLaren F1 deserves a special mention, as it goes down in history as the first road-supercar, the fastest, and the most expensive of its time.

Driving any one of these cars is not for the faint of heart, though. Total control is a must. So is a hefty pocketbook, both for the price of the cars, and for the ensuing fines, if you expect to drive any of these to maximum speeds. Street legal, of course, does mean that the law accepts these speeds. And, think about the insurance!

I read a quote from Top Gear Magazine about the Ultimate Aero, on the official Shelby SuperCars website. It read, “It’s violent, bonkers, near malicious”. I think that sums up my thoughts exactly on the car’s speed and performance.

    More Car Stuff Online

Obviously, this site is about the ten cars I love the most, and I discuss them in. real detail. However, there’s loads more great car stuff on the web; and this list of links below is to get you started on your route to find all of it!

Cheap Fuel Efficiency: Ten 40 MPG Cars For Under $20,000

For many people, the purchase of a fuel efficient car is usually made to save money on driving, as the cost of being a car owner rises further and further.

That being the case, why buy an expensive car in the first place, potentially taking years longer to pay off the fuel savings? The good news is that there are plenty of cars available for less than $20,000 that will still get you 40 MPG on the highway.

Honda’s Civic has always been known for its fuel efficiency and the 2012 model is no different. 40mpg on the highway has been achieved through fuel saving features such as aerodynamic body moldings and streamlined wheel trims. It’s cheaper than the Civic Hybrid, too.

We’re well aware of the Cruze Eco’s credentials since Australian couple the Taylors managed to get 64 mpg driving through 48 U.S. States. Regular drivers should still see 42mpg on the highway.

It’s a pity that Ford charges $495 extra for its SFE package on the Focus (on SE trim only), helping it hit 40mpg from the standard car’s 38mpg highway. We’d like to see the fuel saving bits and pieces as standard.

Another Honda, and the only hybrid in our ten cheapest 40mpg cars, for which Honda must be commended. 43mpg on the highway is the best here too. If you can’t stretch the extra few thousand towards a Prius, then the Insight is probably your best option.

Getting great gas milage needn’t only be the preserve of compact family cars – the Veloster has a hint of coupe style to go with the efficiency.

The Veloster may top this list on style but the Elantra 1.8 is cheaper to buy and offers more space, perfect for families wanting to save some money. Let’s face it – it’s still a looker too.

Like the Focus, the Fiesta SFE package costs an extra $495 and is only available on SE trim and above. If it was available on the base trim level, it’d be an even cheaper way to reach 40mpg highway.

It’s an achievement to have two 40mpg cars in the top ten – to get three on the list is very impressive. The Accent 1.6 is the cheapest way to get your hands on a fuel-efficient Hyundai.

The new 2012 Kia Rio isn’t just one of America’s cheapest cars – it’s also a true 40mpg contender with the new 138 horsepower 1.6. It even looks great, which couldn’t be said about the cheaper, less efficient old model. Price is rumored to be around $13k, but it’s more likely to match the 2012 Hyundai Accent on price.

If you want to stand out for as little money as possible, even the Veloster can’t top the tiny Smart Fortwo Coupe. It may not be as efficient as you’d expect (and nowhere near the European diesel version ), but for this price you can’t sniff at 41 mpg on the highway. With the Rio going upmarket for 2012, the Smart will be the cheapest 40mpg car on sale.

Nationwide Auto Insurance Review 2016 – Top Ten Reviews #lotus #cars

    #nationwide car insurance
    #

    Nationwide Review

To determine how each auto insurance agency compared when it came to their policy’s prices, we created a fictitious driver with a clean record. We gathered quotes in five different cars and five different zip codes. We then compared those numbers against the average car insurance price in the area.

Overall, Nationwide’s prices were below those of its competitors. Keep in mind, however, that rates depend on several factors, including your driving record, where you park the car, and even if you are a parent or not. It’s a good idea to select a few agencies that appeal to you and get quotes specific to your situation.

One unique advantage to Nationwide is its vanishing deductible program. For each year you’re with Nationwide and accident-free, your deductible automatically decreases by $100, for a maximum discount of up to $500. Thus, if you start your policy with Nationwide with a $500 deductible and have no accidents for the next five years, the following year, you can have the same policy with no deductible at all.

    Customer Service

In addition to vanishing deductible, Nationwide offers other rewards in the form of policy discounts. They offer these for bundling insurances, being a good student, being a member of the Farm Bureau, having an anti-theft device in your car and other reasons. The SmartRide program offers a discount for safe driving, but you need to install a device in your car that tracks your mileage, night driving time and driving habits. Like most programs of this nature, you can’t get it in every state. This is common across all insurance plans we reviewed, so if you want to participate in this program, be sure to ask a local agent if it’s available in your area.

One unique feature of Nationwide is its Plenti program. Members earn Plenti points for their insurance premiums as well as for shopping at participating locations. You can spend these points at other locations, such as Exxon or Macy’s.

This company has local agents and 24/7 online customer support, plus some basic FAQs. In addition, it has a newsletter and sponsors community meetings. Overall, Nationwide has earned a customer satisfaction on a par with the best auto insurance agencies. One disadvantage is that it lacks online chat on its website or in claims process. While this isn’t a major issue, some auto insurance companies have it, and it adds convenience, especially when you need a quick answer concerning a quote or other question.

    Claim Processing

If you are in an accident, you can file your claim using the mobile app, calling an online agent or by contacting your agent during his or her office hours. It lacks an online chat feature, however.

You can choose your own repair service or find a Nationwide-certified repair facility through its On Your Side claims program. With a certified repair facility, you get a guarantee for repairs while you own or lease the vehicle. Through the AutoWatch program, you can watch an online feed of your car being repaired. Your mechanic also sends you messages, or you can send comments or questions.

Nationwide has a useful mobile app. It lets you manage your account online and download insurance cards and information. If you are involved in an accident, you can use its claims worksheet to collect the information you need to file a claim and start the claims process.

Three American Cars Make Consumer Reports Top Ten

U.S. cars, including the battery-powered Tesla Model S, account for three of the top 10 picks by automobile testers at Consumer Reports for the first time since 1998.

Tesla Motors Inc.’s $89,650 Model S was the top overall pick for the second year in a row by the independent product-testing magazine. General Motors Co.’s Buick Regal was named the best sports sedan, a category the BMW AG 328i won last year, and its Chevrolet Impala was the top luxury sedan.

“For years, domestic automakers built lower-priced and lower-quality alternatives to imports, but those days are behind us,” said Jake Fisher, Consumer Reports’ director of automotive testing. “Today many domestic models can go toe-to-toe with the best imports.”

Consumer Reports tests and evaluates cars for how well they drive, interior-finish quality, safety and reliability. The 2015 rankings, released Tuesday, influence car buyers and are published in the Yonkers, New York-based magazine’s annual automobile issue.

For GM, which spent much of the past year grappling with the fallout from an ignition-switch defect, the rankings bring needed exposure to Buick and Chevrolet models with stodgy images. Tesla, which has had no shortage of attention for its all-electric cars, would need to find a way to boost production capacity to use the rankings to increase sales.

    Youngest Automaker

Tesla is the smallest and youngest publicly held U.S. automaker, delivering a record 9,834 vehicles last quarter worldwide. Including product-development and other costs, Tesla is the only unprofitable automaker among the world’s 20 largest on the basis of market valuation, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Elon Musk, the co-founder and chief executive officer of Tesla, plans to increase capital expenditures to $1.5 billion this year to boost production, build a battery factory and add at least two vehicles to the company’s lineup. Tesla said last month it will be able to assemble 2,000 vehicles a week by the end of 2015 as it works toward 500,000 automobiles a year by 2020 and millions by 2025.

Despite the company’s small sales, Palo Alto, California-based Tesla has roughly a $26 billion market capitalization. Detroit-based GM, which sold 9.93 million vehicles worldwide last year, has a market value of about $61 billion

    Buick Surprise

While GM’s vehicles may not hold the same public cachet as Tesla’s, Consumer Reports heaped praise on the Buick unit, which became the first lineup by a U.S.-based automaker to crack the top 10 on the magazine’s rankings of overall brand quality

The Buick Regal was deemed by the magazine to be “surprisingly agile” in defiance of its brand’s stereotype. While the model has been around for years as a “comfy cruiser,” the Regal now has Opel underpinnings, delivering “Teutonic ride control that provides a Europhile driving experience,” the magazine said. It surpassed BMW’s 328i, which had won the category each of the last two years.

GM’s gains in the rankings came after a record-breaking year of recalls in 2014. Automakers recalled a combined 64 million vehicles in the U.S. last year, with GM alone accounting for about 27 million.

    Better Manufacturing

Consumer Reports predicted increased public attention on safety will spur automakers to continue to “run scared,” pulling the trigger faster when defects are detected. Concerns that would have been overlooked in the past won’t be, resulting in better manufacturing practices and safer cars overall, the magazine said.

Still, Detroit-made models have leaped in the magazine’s tests since 2012. Ford Motor Co.’s overall road scores are better than Honda Motor Co.’s, and its latest offerings have scored especially well. The brand is still weighed down by “legacy vehicles we cannot recommend,” the magazine said.

GM and Ford are improving in repair costs, but there’s still a gap with Japanese brands.

Japanese automakers still dominate both the list of top-pick cars and the brand report card. Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.’s Subaru brand earned three top picks with its Legacy, Impreza and Forester. Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus was the highest ranked brand.

Toyota’s Highlander earned honors for best mid-sized SUV, and its Prius was named best green car for the 12th year in a row. Honda Motor Co.’s Odyssey was honored as best minivan.

    VW’s Audi

One European automaker, Volkswagen AG’s Audi subsidiary, remains on the list of top picks, with its A6 luxury car.

Consumer Reports saved its biggest praise for Tesla.

Tesla’s Model S surpasses every other vehicle for sale in the U.S. scoring well as a sports car, a luxury car and a green alternative to a gasoline-powered engine. More is expected this year with an upgraded performance 85-watt version with separate motors for front and rear wheels.

“It has moved the needle so dramatically,” said Mark Rechtin, the magazine’s autos editor. “Nothing is usurping it. It accomplishes everything people wanted in an electric car.”

Tesla can’t get complacent though, GM is targeting a 2017 release of an electric vehicle that can go more than 200 miles on a single charge and cost less than $40,000 and Apple Inc. has been working secretly on an electric vehicle that may begin production as early as 2020, Bloomberg News reported last week.

    Geico Auto Insurance Review 2016 – Top Ten Reviews #auto #parts #finder

    Geico Review

Geico’s rates are some of the lowest of those we examined. We set up a sample customer profile with a clean driving record and checked insurance premiums for our fictitious driver with five cars in five areas across the United States. Like our Silver and Bronze winners, Geico’s prices were cheaper than those of other car insurance providers we reviewed. Of course, your specific premiums depend on your own situation and your driving record. Therefore, we suggest looking at three or more of our top car insurance agencies and comparing the rates yourself.

The online quote system is easy to use and gives you a couple of plans to consider, or you can edit the plan to meet your specific needs. The price quote is an estimate. Your driving record impacts whether the final rate is higher or lower than the quote.

    Customer Service

GEICO offers 15 discounts, including whether you drive more than one car or more have more than one line of insurance with the company. It offers homeowners, rental, condo or mobile home insurance as well as insurance for boats and snowmobiles. These policies are provided through non-affiliated insurance companies but secured through Geico.

Geico also offers discounts for federal employees and military members, and if you are a deploying, you can get further deals. This auto insurance agency offers discounts to members of more than 500 different organizations. Having good grades or having taken driver’s education courses lowers your cost. Being accident-free for five years or more can cut your premiums, too. Finally, Geico reduces your rates if your car has specific safety features like daytime running lights or an anti-theft system.

One discount common to insurance agencies that Geico lacks is the driving habits discount. With this discount, you are given a device to plug into your car. It monitors your driving habits, including mileage and unsafe practices like speeding or hard braking. After a set period, the information is analyzed, and you are assigned a discount based on your driving. While some people may not want this kind of monitoring, others consider it a useful tool for seeing where they can improve their driving as well as save money. It’s especially useful for teen drivers, as it gives them feedback on how they are driving when Mom or Dad is not sitting next to them.

You can access your policy information online through the member portal. From there, you can make payments, change coverage or order proof of insurance. If you have other Geico policies, you can access them from this site as well.

Geico has one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings of all the auto insurance agencies we reviewed. Every agency had a high rating, though, but Geico scored the highest in our evaluation.

    Claim Processing

You can report a claim 24/7 using the interactive online form through the website or the mobile app. You can also report it via telephone. You can check your claim online to track its progress, but you’ll need the claim number. You can view damage pictures and reports, schedule your vehicle for repair, electronically sign forms and communicate with the claims team.

Geico has approved assessment and repair facilities through its Auto Repair Xpress (ARX) program. If you are in an accident and have your car repaired by an ARX facility, it can handle the paperwork, and if you have the rental option, you can get a temporary vehicle at the facility. Your Geico adjustor keeps you informed of progress, and the work is guaranteed for the entire time you own your car. ARX facilities are not available in all areas. When filing a claim, you may be able to find an ARX location through the claims portal or a Geico agent can tell you if any are in your location. Of course, you can always use your own trusted repair shop.

Geico’s mobile app is excellent. It has clear and understandable menus appropriate to the small screen of a smartphone. It also has a voice-activated virtual assistant, Lily, who can help schedule appointments with your agent, view your claim information, answer questions about your policy or tell you what she thinks of the gecko, the company’s mascot. The app also stores your ID cards and proof of insurance and has an interactive accident guide in the event you’re involved in a collision. The app is available for Android or iPhones plus tablets.

    Summary

When it comes to automobile insurance, Geico is the best. Not only does it have low premiums and 15 discount options, but it has one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings we found. You can speak to an agent online or in person and file claims through the website or mobile device. The mobile app is among the best we’ve found for insurance agencies. Overall, Geico does an excellent job with car insurance and should be on your list of providers to consider when pricing plans.

Capital One has excellent customer support, including a section that outlines frequently asked questions. This makes it easy for you to find the answers to your commonly asked questions without having to contact a representative of the site. Estimated interest rates are available for each different kind of loan, and Capital One Auto Finance does seem to be competitive in this area.

    Types of Loans

Capital One Auto Finance offers new and used vehicle loans, automobile loan refinancing, and the Blank Check option which means you can negotiate with a dealer the same way you would if you were paying cash. You must qualify for this program. Estimated APR amounts are as follows:

    • New Car: 36 Months at 3.95%, 48 or 60 Months at 4.25%, 66 or 72 Months at 5.25%
    • Used Car: 36 Months at 4.45%, 48 or 60 Months at 4.90%, 66 or 72 Months at 5.95%
    • Auto Refinance: Rates as low as 4.34%

    Summary

Online auto loan companies have to be competitive to stay in business, and Capital One Auto Finance is doing just that in all departments, most notably help and support and features. Overall, this seems like a great choice whether you re searching for new or used automobile loans, or refinancing options.

Not exactly very streamlined or anything like a Lamborghini Gallardo but in a way it looks super cool, the front of it just says width:670px;height:90px”

    Best Car Brands

    The Top TenX W

Love the new BMW X1 in brown color (as it can be seen on webpage). Many people think it’s too expensive but for such a great car the price is OK.

BMW is best in class-Luxury car manufacturer in the world. It stick to its motto of the ultimate driving machine and it will continue to deliver its goods to driving enthusiasts around the world. I am in the process to purchase my first, and hope to become a BMW loyalist for life.

Yes BMW is the purest brand of all the bunch. Most of them are not real brands and are affected by belonging to a larger dominating source (VW) (GM) These sub-brands are a mixture of parts, mixed and then called a name. BMW and Mercedes and Toyota are truly original to their product.

    Yay! It is my favourite!

Mercedes-Benz is a division of its parent company, Daimler AG. Mercedes-Benz traces its origins to Karl Benz’s creation of the first petrol-powered car THAT IS THE RESON WHY I VOTE MERCEDES. MERCEDES IS THE BEST FROM ALONG TIME. MERCEDES CREATED IT FIRST Car before bmw by 48 years

    1. They put a minimum of 8 coats of paint on the car.

    2. It is the only car in the world whose seat back won’t break during most crashes.

    3. Driving a Mercedes, even an older Mercedes means class. Period. No debate. You cannot say that with other cars.

    4. They really do last and last. Mercedes even has a million mile club. These cars are built to last. The current high-mileage champion is Gregorios Sachinidis, a Greek taxi driver who holds the known record of more than 2.8

Million miles in his 1976 Mercedes-Benz.

to be honest guys. Д±f you like the X brand it is not best brand. if you want to know best brand, you should search the history of brand what they happenned, qualty searching which one is followed. Д± searched something and finally, Д± decided best brand is mercedes also they say that THE BEST OR NOTHING. no more need comment. the first outomobil, first motorcycle etc.

Lewis hamilton makes this car the best

People always say that Ferrari is perhaps the greatest car maker in the world. I’d like to ask them have they heard of a company called-LAMBORGHINI. If you have then you wouldn’t say that Ferrari is the best.

Lamborghini cars looks awesome. There Design is very aerodynamic and the engine sound is really nice. To me, Lamborghini is the best auto makers in the world.

An amazing car brand! I would call it prodigious, marvelous, stunning. No words for it! Love its sound! Its addictive! Its doors amazingly opens upward! What a sleek, aerodynamic design! No words for it!

When I was skid I used to say Ferrari is cool but after I saw a Lamborghini I changed my mind the next second

Most beautiful cars, both interior and exterior. Perfect balance of sportiness and comfort. The only con is the motor oil consumption.

Best line up of cars, amazing engines, something for everyone

    Those grills make me ecstatic!

They are comparatively cheaper and does give the goods!

I love this car. best car body shape

Ferrari is the best car ever. It run very fast. Throughout its history, the company has been noted for its continued participation in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has had great success.

Most prestigious make in the world. No brand has more history and tradition and passion as Ferrari. Their cars feel handmade. I would know my family has 9 :L

Whoa one of the best companies that have emerged ever in the history of cars. It is a revolution in technology

    Awesome best cars ever

The best cars in the universe!

    Completely premium German quality.

Nobody is in its way – owenpoon

Style and substance, wins at racing and wins in usable performance with enough practicality (and serious race-bred reliability) to make something special work every day. That is the magic of Porsche that other luxury brands envy and aspiring brands can’t even touch.

The best car brand for me. It has an elegant style yet it packs enough horsepower to make a lot of cars eat dust. Expensive yet attainable.

This is definitely NO.4 at the least

Ford has anything from 10,000 dollar hybrids, to 140,000 dollar super cars! Just look at the GT! Amazing at everything!

If you take in all models that a company makes I say Ford has the number 1 spot. All the high price cars listed come from companies that has problems with other cars. In the past European cars were known for quality cars but with the push for bling cars they have lost that edge, same for the Japan cars. For the average car buyer Ford has the largest offerings with good quality.

Ford is the company that started the whole automobile craze in North America after Karl Benz invented the gas powered automobile in Germany. Come on guys, Ford also started the 40hr/5d work week and the assembly line. For crying out loud Ford made the damn Mustang!

Fords are very reliable and you can always find the car you want.

Toyota is more popular and has better customer support. Most other websites have Toyota as number 1 or two. I certainly agree with other websites. I own a Toyota RAV4 and also think it has a great engine.

This car should be first because it have the best selling car of all time (Toyota Corolla) I have an ae86 corolla wich is the best drift car of all time also

    Best Brand

Its a user review. Japanese technology best technology.

    I have toyota etios livaa

Volkswagen Golf anyone. A Fuel Efficient CAR that’s loaded with German Engineering.

And with Golf GTI that beats any hatchback/compact out there, you’re good to go!

Shoot I’m gonna get me a vw bus one of these days. Kicking it old school man – the-rate-it-guy

I HAD A TOYOTA CAROLA 1. GSX 2009 VW JETTA 2.0 FSI 2005 AN BMW 320I 2006, NOW I GOT A HONDA ACCORD 2.4 EXECUTIVE. I WORK AT A SECOND HAND CAR SHOP AND I SEE A LOT OF CARS. HONDA IS VALUE 4 MONEY, MOST RELIABLE BRAND, VTEC POWERTRAIN, AND MOST OF ALL FUN TO DRIVE.

    MY TOP 10 BRAND ARE

    1, HONDA

    2, BENZ- CLASSY

    3, BMW- POWERTRAIN

    4, VOLVO- SAFETY

5, SUBARU-THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU MAKE A LAMBO LOOK LIKE A DONKEY ON TAKE OFF

Honda make the best cars for the masses by far. Much better than any German brands. I don’t see any Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari cars on my neighbours drives at all. These cars should be removed from this list.

Honda was innovating when the Big 3 American Auto makers were whining about not being able to make the EPA standards in time. Honda redesigned the engine instead of attaching multiple add-on to the engine. So far Ford is the only who is getting it, and getting it right and gaining fast on the Japanese auto makers. – mgenet

Best car of the Honda is Honda city my favorite
