Lemon Cleanse
The imbalance of ones system might manifest as disease and start in the intestines, so it is a good idea to do a cleansing. We should be aware that one’s healing process must go much further including all levels of one’s existence – not only the physical. It is no coincidence that you arrived at this Web site. Here you will find a lot more in your search for health. Take your time. listen to your body and be conscious what you are doing, – you might also enjoy it, – but be aware, that the body is a very complicate system and it depends very much on your present condition, your history, your behavior, life style, attitude and other influences, in how far what you do for your health and healing, is really beneficial. It might be, that something that is good for one person, can have a negative effect on another. So in any case it is advisable, before you do any thing, that you consult a ‘health professional’. I have done those things described at my pages with success and benefit, but I can’t guarantee this for others. Whatever you do, this is your own risk and don’t make me responsible for any thing you have done and it didn’t work out well. Apart of this, the given information about the various ways of cleansing and fasting, are not discovered and described by me, but from other sources that are always mentioned. (See also my ‘Medical disclaimer’ )

LEMON DRINK for your Master Cleanse
you need:
* 2 tablespoons FRESH squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
* 2 tablespoons genuine organic maple syrup, Grade B (the darker the better)*
* 1/10 teaspoon (a small pinch!) cayenne pepper, gradually increase (the more
BTUs the better)
* 300 – 500 ccm (10-14 oz) pure water
In a 300ccm (10-ounce) glass (to allow for 227ccm and mixing room): 2 tablespoons fresh (and organic, if possible) lemon or lime juice (absolutely no canned or frozen juice). 2 tablespoons real (and organic, if possible) grade B or C maple syrup. (Don’t use Grade A maple syrup or maple-flavored syrup. They are over-refined, which means that they are mostly refined sugars and lack essential minerals.) A small pinch of cayenne pepper (to taste). Spring or purified water, between room temperature and medium hot (but not cold) fill to 1/4 liter (8 oz). Mix all the ingredients by thoroughly stirring or shaking, and drink. Or, in two 1 liter bottles: Juice of 3 lemons, divided equally between the two bottles (about 85ccm or 3 oz per bottle) An equal quantity of grade B or C maple syrup in each bottle (about 85 ccm or 3 oz per bottle) A pinch of cayenne in each bottle Spring or purified water (fill bottles to the top) Mix all the ingredients by thoroughly shaking; then drink throughout the day. Use fresh lemons or limes only, never canned or frozen lemon juice. Use organic and vine ripened when possible. Also, mix your lemonade fresh just before drinking. Don’t mix it up in the morning for the whole day. You can, however, squeeze your lemons in the morning and measure out the 2 tablespoons when needed.

* YL Clinic says you can use Agave instead of the maple syrup. Tom Woloshyn (who studied with Stanley Burroughs himself) disagrees. Clinic says if you have diabetes or hypoglycemia, use molasses. If you feel weak or have a sugar imbalance you can add a scoop of Power Meal. Or you can try Master Amino Acid Profile (MAP) for protein without any residuals or strain on the body.

SALT WATER FLUSH:
Drink an oral salt water enema upon arising. To do this, add 2 level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a quart of lukewarm water (the one-quart juice bottles in which most organic juices come work very well). Shake well, then drink the entire quart. It’s also good to massage the colon as well. Make sure you use uniodized sea salt; regular or iodized salt will not have the same beneficial effect. This oral enema will flush out your entire digestive tract and colon from top to bottom, usually within an hour, prompting you to eliminate several times, clearing out the plaque and debris from the walls, and the parasites that have been living there.

Lemonade Drink:
Drink the lemonade mix every 1 to 2 hours. Take no other food, but do be sure to drink plenty of purified water in addition to the lemonade drink. Drink as much of this lemonade as you want, but make sure that you drink at least twelve 1/4 liter (8 oz) glasses. The lemonade contains all the vitamins and minerals you need. This can be combined with supplements for colon cleansing such as Bentonite or Psyllium Seeds. You don’t have to start your fast on the morning of the first day. You can begin later in the day, even if you’ve already eaten. Once you begin, however, eat nothing more while you’re on the fast. It’s also a good idea to read Stanley Burrough’s book, The Master Cleanser. Note: Diabetics, refer to the special instructions on page 19 of The Master Cleanser.

Note: Bentonite is the only product known to remove plaque from the walls of the intestine and colon. The plaque in your stool will look like egg shells on the outside of the bentonite “gel.” Bentonite works most effectively when the colon is empty of food. It grabs the plaque which has been loosened by the lemon juice and the resting/fasting process. The salt water enema pushes out the bentonite gel and the plaque and debris that is stuck to it and in it. The salt water further cleanses the walls as it passes through, resulting in shiny clean walls.

Herbal Laxative:
Each evening you can drink an herbal laxative tea to help with elimination, do this right before bed time.

GOING OFF LEMONADE FAST
Burroughs recommends a minimum of 10 days on this. You can safely do 40 days or more.
First Day: Start with 4 oz. [1/8 liter] fresh squeezed orange juice mixed with 4 oz. water. If it goes well, drink several more 8 oz. [1/4 liter] glasses of fresh orange juice during the day. Sip slowly. Dilute with water if needed.
Second Day: Drink several 8 oz. [1/4 liter] glasses of orange juice during the day — with extra water, if needed.

In the evening make a vegetable broth (no canned soup). Use seasonal leafy and root vegetables such as: beets and beet tops, turnips and turnip greens, kale, carrots, onions, parsley, celery, potatoes, okra, one or two inds of legumes, squash, beans, a little salt, cayenne pepper and dehydrated vegetables or veg. powder may be added for flavor (no MSG or hydrolyzed protein).
Cook lightly. Drink the broth, eating only a few bites of the vegetables.
Third Day: Orange juice in the morning. At noon have some more soup with some of the vegetables. No meat, fish, eggs, bread, pastries, tea, milk, or coffee. For Dinner, have the vegetables in the soup.
Fourth Day: Orange juice or lemon and maple syrup in the morning. Fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts for lunch. Salad or fruit for dinner.
Fifth Day: Eat normally but no junk food, dairy, tea, coffee, white flour or white rice, heavy animal proteins. If, after eating is resumed, distress or gas occurs, go back to the lemonade diet for a few days until the system is ready for food.

10 Things You Should Know About Buying Long-Term Care Insurance

Long-Term Care is Different From Traditional Medical Care
Someone with a prolonged physical illness, a disability or a cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer s disease often needs long-term care. Long-term care services may include help with daily activities, home health care, respite care, hospice care, adult day care, care in a nursing home or care in an assisted living facility.

Long-Term Care Can be Expensive
The cost depends on the amount and type of care you need and where you get it. In 2001, the national average cost of nursing home care was $56,000 per year, assisted living facilities reported $22,476 per year and home care costs ranged from $12,000 to $16,000 per year.

You Have Options When Paying for Long-Term Care
People pay for long-term care in a variety of ways. These include using personal resources, long-term care insurance and Medicaid for those who qualify. Medicare, Medicare supplement insurance and health insurance you may have at work usually will not pay for long-term care. Long-term care insurance will pay for some or all of your long-term care.

Decide Whether Long-Term Care Insurance is for You
Whether you should buy a long-term care insurance policy will depend on your age, health status overall retirement goals, income and assets. For instance, if your only source of income is a Social Security benefit or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you probably should not buy long-term care insurance since you may not be able to afford the premium. On the other hand, if you have a large amount of assets but do not want to use them to pay for long-term care, you may want to buy a long-term care insurance policy. Many people buy a policy because they want to stay independent of government aid or the help of family. They don t want to burden anyone with having to care for them. However, you should not buy a policy if you can t afford the premium or are not sure you can pay the premium for the rest of your life.

Pre-Existing Condition Limitations
A long-term care insurance policy usually defines a pre-existing condition as one for which you received medical advice or treatment or had symptoms within a certain period before you applied for the policy. Some companies look further back in time than others. Many companies will sell a policy to someone with a pre-existing condition. However, the company may not pay benefits for long-term care related to that condition for a period after the policy goes into effect, usually six months. Some companies have longer pre-existing condition periods or none at all.

Know Where to Look for Long-Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance is available to you in several different forms. You can buy an individual policy from a private insurance company or agent, or you can buy coverage under a group policy through an employer or association membership. The federal government and several state governments offer long-term care insurance coverage to their employees, retirees and their families. You can also get long-term care benefits through a life insurance policy. Some states have long-term care insurance programs designed to help people with the financial impact of spending down to meet Medicaid eligibility standards. Check with your state insurance department or counseling program to see if these policies are available in your state.

Check With Several Companies and Agents
Contact several companies and agents before you buy a long-term care policy. Be sure to compare benefits, the types of facilities covered, limits on your coverage, what is not covered and the premium. Policies from different insurance companies often have the same coverage and benefits but may not cost the same. Be sure to ask companies about their rate increase history and whether they have increased the rates on the long-term care insurance policies.

Don t be Misled by Advertising
Most celebrity endorsers are professional actors paid to advertise, not insurance experts. It is also important to note that Medicare does not endorse or sell long-term care insurance policies, so be wary of advertising that suggests Medicare is involved. Do not trust cards you get in the mail that look like official government documents until you check with the government agency identified on the card.

Make Sure the Insurance Company is Reputable
To help you find out if an insurance company is reliable, you can take the following actions: Stop before you sign anything, call your state insurance department and confirm that the insurance company is licensed to do business in your state. After you make sure they are licensed, check the financial stability of the company by checking their ratings. You can get ratings from some insurer rating services for free at most public libraries.

Review Your Contract Carefully
When you purchase long-term care insurance, your company should send you a policy. You should read the policy and make certain you understand its contents. If you have questions about your insurance policy, contact your insurance agent for clarification. If you still have questions, turn to your state insurance department or insurance counseling program.

East Orlando Health & Rehabilitation Center, Inc

My father has been doing rehab at this facility recently. I have found the staff to be caring, kind and available to answer any of my questions or concerns. The dietary staff has been eager to work with me on my father’s likes and dislikes and I found the CNA’s to be knowledgeable and attentive to my dad’s condition and needs. The facility is due for a renovation, but the facility is clean and the hands on care is good.

My friend is now there. She had this beautiful quilt, hand made which was taken to the so called storage when admitted to hospital. When she was returned to the facility the beautiful quilt was never returned, some of her clothes were not returned either. I went to office and spoke with the girl at the office, spoke with the lady which cleaned the room of her belonging, I was taken to a rack where clothes of patients are being held. Names on clothing do not help clothes are being given to other people. The rugs are dirty and smelly they are old and should be replaced. Beds are not equipped properly, patients can easily get off when they shouldn’t. This is because the beds do not have the railings it should have. They have alarms on the beds and mats on the floor and when a patient that shouldn’t get up gets up the alarms goes off and it takes forever before a CNA or nurse appears. There is a lack of communication between nurses, doctors and family members. I asked a question regarding blood testing. The response I received from a nurse who couldn’t read the lab results very well were astonishing. I could go on but I think that gives you an idea of some of the things which should be looked at. It is an abuse if personal property is taken and not returned. They need more help for all the patients they have. Some of the CNA Nurses are awesome but so short handed to do the work they would like to do.

Response: you must work there LOL

East Orlando Health Rehabilitation Center, Inc is an average sized, not for profit, nursing home with 120 beds based in Orlando, FL. At last check, the facility had 116 residents indicating that it is 97% occupied which is about average within the state of Florida. The provider accepts both medicare and medicaid programs, and provides resident counseling services.
This nursing home is not located in a hospital or a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). As of November 2012, the medicare rating for East Orlando Health Rehabilitation Center, Inc, was 4 stars, which is a better rating than 85% of nursing homes in Florida.
We have compared the detailed Medicare data for East Orlando Health Rehabilitation Center, Inc with other senior care providers in Florida. When compare to the state averages for staffing, the number of registered nurse (RN) hours per resident per day is higher than average; Certified nursing assistant (CNA) hours per resident per day is about average; The number of licensed practical (LPN) or vocational nurse hours per resident per day is about average. The most recent health inspection was on 08/31/2011.
To view the full report for this facility, and to understand more about its Medicare rating, go to here

This facility does not have enough CNA staff to meet the needs of the resident. During meal times we have to wait over an hour if our family member needs to be changed or moved. If we want to put our family member in a wheel chair, we can not do it when close to meal time or if we return during meal time our family member has to sit in the wheel chair until all the meals are passed out and those that can not feed themselves are fed. Also the one CNA assigned to your room may go on break right after meal service which will delay any further help, they don’t offer to get a floater, if there is one, to help. My assestment is they are low staffed even though they say they meet the state requirements, the staff they have are doing the job of 2 people and therefore the family member suffers while waiting for help.

This place is awful. I would never send anyone here (unless I wanted to kill them ha) The staff is incompetent and don’t like their jobs, and how can I blame them for that. I’m told the DON and this woman Linda something or another are THE WORST. The staff hate them and so they don’t take care of their patients. Working here is a career killer, would NEVER step foot in the place. It smells and might as well be shut down because really are they helping people. probably as much as a dog chasing its tail.

GEORGIA COMMUNITIES

A refreshingly simple approach

At Senior Solutions Management Group, our approach to Senior Care is refreshingly simple. We maintain a laser-sharp focus on the four critical care issues that matter most to our residents and their families: Health, Safety, Activity and Diet. And while we offer all the same additional care components as many of our competitors including hair salons, transportation and medication management, we believe that nothing else matters…nothing else…if your loved one is not happy, safe, clean and well cared for, and well fed in our care.

Senior Solutions Management Group is a family built business, focused on the needs of our resident family every day. Our owner spends a great deal of time in each community every month, reminding our caregivers to stay focused on just four things…health, safety, activity and diet. As he is often heard saying, “nothing else matters until we do these four things right.”

This unique approach and a focus on individualized service allow our communities to be recognized for their commitment to quality senior care while providing a fair and above equitable return to our capital partners and investors. Since 1997, Senior Solutions Management Group has managed and cared for senior citizens in markets from California to Florida and currently operates 17 communities in Georgia and Tennessee. This site is devoted to folks who would rather retire than continue to work. I would think that would include most everyone.

This is not advice that you will get from a financial planner.

This site does not tell you how to make more money, but rather how to spend less and enjoy yourselves more.

Let’s get started. but first take a look at the upper left hand corner of the page. the couple on the stern of a sailboat. you too can as happy as they look. I know. it’s a picture of yours truly and his soulmate since 1975.

A message from the editor of Frugal Retirement Living

I am currently 71 and we had been retired for 23 years, we would not trade our retirement years and experiences for any amount of money. We learned long ago the futility of swapping time working for dollars. it is not worth it folks.

Take another look at the couple on the stern of their sailboat Shadowtime. somewhere in the Caribbean. And tell me they miss the office.

Do not give up on retirement

It is 2017 and times are tough but there is still hope for those planning to retire.

We are not hippies, daredevils or anyone out of the ordinary. We would rather be retired on less than working to acquire more retirement dollars.

We will show you why you should retire as soon as possible. or we will at least make you think twice.

One of the saddest things that I hear is that I cannot afford to retire.

You should not say that until you have investigated all lifestyles that cost less to enjoy.

We can introduce you to the frugal retirement living lifestyles that we have enjoyed, you will discover that they are painless, safe, practical and frugal.

Have you considered these frugal lifestyles?

None of these options are cheap living, they are just living cheaply. There is a big difference between the two phrases. one involves sacrifice the other embraces retirement.

Not ready to retire?

Average Salaries in Sweden by Occupation

Swedish salaries on the whole, are lower than other countries. In Sweden, salaries are more evenly spread between professions compared to the other countries, especially the US UK, when there is a wide range in earnings between blue-collar to CEO/doctor levels.

Here s a quick look at monthly salaries for most major professions. In Sweden, employees sign up for a monthly salary rather than yearly salary. These are based upon several years experience. Discount heavily if you are a new graduate in the field.

Occupation Monthly Salary in SEK (2010)
Veterinarian 50,600
Dentists 50,600
Doctors 50,600
Pilot 48,200
Lawyer 40,700
Civil economist 38,600
Computer Programmer 38,400
Master 38,000
Researcher 35,600
Brokers 34,700
Journalist 32,100
Author 32,100
IT professionals 30,400
Psychologist 28,000
Nurse 27,800
Secondary school teachers 27,300
Opticians 26,200
Primary school teachers 25,700
HVAC technician 24,700
Painter 23,600
Tailors 21,600
Stockman 20,200

You can see that doctors and lawyers are not that much better off than an experienced programmer or pilot. There are no $200,000 incomes for doctors or lawyers in Sweden so if you expect that kind of money, don t move here.

Despite average wages, cost of living is relatively high. especially in Stockholm. You can still achieve a high rate of savings by avoiding car ownership and living with a partner.

In addition, high unemployment amongst the youth population is persistent despite lower restrictions on hiring and terminations. Youth are those between 18-25 years of age. If you are college educated or have previous work experience, your chance of finding a job is far easier.

LO, Landsorganisationen i Sverige, the Swedish trade union confederation, ran a study regarding expectations of salaries and reality. The findings were markedly Swedish in that, respondents expected evenly distributed salaries amongst occupations.
Occupation Expected Monthly Income Real Monthly Income
Cashier 22,800 20,400
Assistant 25,200 21,600
Industry worker 25,700 24,100
Electrician 26,800 26,600
Teacher 27,700 26,000
Nurse 29,000 25,600
Engineer 32,600 39,100
Sales Boss 35,700 54,600
Doctor 39,000 52,800
Director of a large company 97,000 969,800
Numbers are in 2010 SEK (kronor) via DN and LO .

Of course, not everything is equal in Sweden, especially when you reach the director/executive level positions. There, you can expect American salaries and perks with your position.

The resources below should help you if you are negotiating salaries. Be aware of salary differences between cities, gender, and experience.

If these are lower than other countries, then how can we afford living within ours. I am a telecom engineer and was paid 1500EGP basic salary and around 200EGP monthly bonus at 2009 in Egypt! Enjoy the conversion 🙂 I will be appreciated if you please can advise me how to travel to Sweden.

I just came back from an awesome vacation in northern Sweden. From what I could see, people in Sweden may not have as much stuff as north americans but they certainly have a better quality of life. The narrow income spread seems like a very good idea.

Question: Having participated in a fair number of fika s I was wondering about the coffee. What do Swedes do to make their strong-brew coffee so tasty? If I were to brew some local (american) coffee to that strength, it would be undrinkable.

could someone tell me what is average salary for waitress?

Having lived in Sweden for a year I have to mention the problems with this. IF you want to live in Stockholm or any other big city in the world of course the COL will be high. Thus there are suburbs where the costs are a whole lot cheaper. Going even further up here in Norsbotten it s even cheaper! For a years worth of rent in Stockholm you can buy a nice house with lots of land in the country close enough to a city to go to work.

Also consider this with the Doctors. There is no student debt payback and no insurance payments for liability and the work hours are a whole lot better. Still lower then America but getting closer. Private practice is also allowed here and I believe they get paid a lot more since it is a premium service where you get seen when you want to instead of waiting for a long time.

My sister in law did say she and her husband would move to Norway after she graduates as the psychologist are paid more there.

All in all yes it s not as well paying here on high end jobs as in america but the low end jobs pay well and as someone mentioned the living conditions here are great. Also we don t have as many temptations for useless things (lack of variety) so we do save a bit.

You mentioned Humon in one of the comments. I m a HUGE fan of the SATW comics and I don t think there is a comic about the salaries in Scandinavia (She s Danish isn t she )
But i m starting to go through all your posts and I must say, i m really impressed. You re beginning to take on a Humon-esque stature to me right now 😀

I m glad you enjoy the blog. There are lots of updates to come, so stay tuned.

Hi everyone! I´ve just apply to an internship in Lund. The salary is 15,500, is it OK to live. Is it possible to save something. Let me know what can you do with that salary.

Thank you very much and best regards.

hi everyone, i have to make survey about some eccupation salary can anyone help in that ?
also i need to now some other things like how can i rejest new company, Taxes, fuel rate, car hiring per month, flat rent preice / year
apprciate anyone help.
Cheers,

I work in the Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK and have been trying to find the average salary for a Swedish equivalent but have so far been unable to do so. I believe the role of the Quantity Surveyor in Sweden in less technical as many of the functions of a QS are carried out by other professions. Any help you could give me on average salaries or where to look for roles would be greatly appreciated.

whats the average tax %ge and cost of living in euro in sweden I mean for a decent upper-mid-class living statndard

Normal income tax (roughly speaking) is between 28-33%. It depends on which municipality you are living in. If you make more then 401 100 SEK/year (about 46000 Euros) you also pay state income tax, much like US federal tax.
About the cost of living . Taking Gothenburg area as an example. 2 room apartment is about 500 euros, food 230-300 euros, appliance + electricity 30-40 euros, internet+mobilephone 60-70 euros, monthly fee for commuting is about 80-100 euros. So all in all 920-100 euros. If you live in smaller cities or suburbs the rent might be alot cheaper.

Heya, so ive been trying to find salary averages for skilled chefs in stockholm but as of yet i havnt had any luck. Does anyone here have an idea?

Hi everone. I m a qualified fitness trainer. Does anyone know the average wage for a fitness trainer anywhere in Sweden?

I am graduating rom medical school soon from russia could you please tell me if ifs easy to get an internship in Sweden

Exploring Treatment Options in Venice, CA.

Should I Stay Local or Travel for the Best Treatment?

Seeking local treatment might seem like the best rehab option, surrounded by familiar places and close to friends and family. While this may be the most convenient route to take, there are also some significant drawbacks to be aware of. Making a “clean break” from drugs and alcohol, separating from the environments and people most associated with the addiction, often leads to the best results. The chances of relapse are diminished when you are away from home, since you are limiting your access to the substances you are trying to quit. Many rehabs are located in incredible settings, from oceanfront and lakeside facilities to picturesque desert retreats – perfect for creating the right atmosphere for feeling peaceful, keeping positive and staying healthy during, and after, your stay. So make sure you consider all your options when deciding the best place to make a fresh start.

How Much Does Addiction Treatment Cost?

Treatment prices depend on the treatment phases involved and the level of service and extras provided. The range runs from free and low-cost options that are generally state or federally funded, all the way up to very expensive treatment at facilities that give 5 star resorts a run for their money. In terms of free options, consider hosting an intervention with friends and family, along with visiting www.SAMHSA.gov which has a treatment center locator and provides listings to government-funded and very low cost alternatives. General Pricing Guidelines

Is Insurance Accepted?

In many cases YES. Although not every detox or rehabilitation facility will accept insurance, many do. Most of the facilities that we refer people to do accept private insurance, so give us a call today to verify what coverage you may have and we will do everything possible to help make that work for you!

How Long Does Effective Treatment Take?

Studies indicate that the success rate for recovery rises dramatically with the length of treatment. That is, the longer an individual spent in a facility treating their drug or alcohol dependencies, the less likely they were to relapse. Detox and rehab can be done in as few as 21 to 30 days, though the probability of remaining alcohol and drug-free rises dramatically as the individual passes 90 days of treatment.

FORT WORTH CENTER OF REHABILITATION, LLC

Amazing building, seriously very clean and taken care of compared to Most in the area! My mother in law was satisfied with care, therapy, and I loved that everyone from the kitchen to the medical supply manager checked on her frequently. Weekend staff was not the best always, but I was impressed with the therapy, most nurses, and over all care. No new wounds, No weight loss, and her wound from the hospital’s neglect healed with no issues! If you want nurses with heart, family oriented staff, and good care I say check it out! (rooms are nice but can feel small with a room mate) However I have seen smaller!

Beautiful building, but the food is horrible, care is at best minimal, staff talk in whatever there native language is. If anyone helps you they may not be able to understand what you are saying, or you understand what they are saying. There are 2 or 3 really sweet people here, but the others need to move along. My aunt’s bathroom was dirty when I left in the evening and the same nastiness was still there when I came back in the morning. Nurse aid said there wasn’t a housekeeper on at night. I guess an aid can’t wipe the toilet. If I had known that I would have done it myself. I would think twice before putting another family member here. Fortunately we are going home in a few days. Can’t wait!

I would not send my worst enemy here. ALL the nurses are rude, never have a smile on. Never washed their hands. Screamed at patients. Linens were never changed. Toilets and floors always dirty. Did not take any precautions to limit infectious bacteria spreading. Left my loved one in a wheelchair, twice, with no supervision and was found by family members just before he slid out of the chair. Did not turn him every 2 hours knowing he cannot turn himself. Didn’t check residual before feeding through feeding tube. CNAs had no experience and were asking me questions(if they even spoke to you). No common sense. No communication between nursing staff and rehab staff, so alot of wasted rehab time that insurance stops covering when the patient doesn’t show progress. Even after complaining to the case worker and director of nursing nothing was done to make changes. One of the doctors said all of this was known by everyone and we needed to make a complaint to the administrator, but said nothing would be done about it. We should have left the first day when no one came in to greet us or do an assesment of him. Come to find out even the hospital has this place on a do not send patients to status.

If there was a minus 10 ratig – that would be more appropriate – Horrible. For the second day in a row, I found my mother lying in bed with her and her sheets soaked in urine. The toilet was filled with feces and I know had was not flushed at least from 2 pm – 6 pm. After finally flushing 6 times, the toilet was still not clean and as housekeeping was not there on Satruday, I had to clean her toilet. There were also piles of feces in the floor of the visitor bathroom and on the wheel of my mother’s wheelchair.

A unique—and growing—care type that requires an especially deep respect and honor for residents is memory care. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a team that is professionally trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private residences with twenty-four-hour support. Three healthy meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment encourage cognitive stimulation. Facilities typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to enjoy. A skilled staff and licensed nurses provide 24/7 health care when needed as well as assistance with the activities of daily living, including grooming, dressing, and help with using the bathroom. Most residents share a room, with healthy meals provided in a central dining room. An activity director coordinates an activity and events plan to encourage mental, physical, and social health. Memory care necessitates the highest level of care, memory enhancement programs, and increased security for your loved one. A nursing home is for those who cannot be cared for at home but who do not need hospital care. Legal Guidelines for Opening a Sober Living Home

    Опубликовано: 28 окт. 2014 г.

The desire to start a sober living home is a noble cause. These homes serve as a supportive transitional environment for individuals who have previously had problems with addiction but are ready to face the world during their recovery process. Opening a sober living home for these individuals requires a great deal of commitment from your clients to provide a compassionate and consistent support system, as recovering addicts are often in a fragile and vulnerable emotional state.

There are many considerations to make when opening a sober living home. The first step is to develop a startup business plan. This should include a company description, service description, market analysis, and strategy. In addition, financials need to be taken into consideration; such as having the right sober living insurance policy to protect the home in case of an insurance claim or loss of some kind. In addition to insurance, there are many other factors your clients should keep in mind to remain compliant and ensure they are following all the legal guidelines necessary to open and start a sober living home.

Abiding by legal guidelines first means researching zoning laws in the area the home will be located in. It’s generally best to rent or purchase a dwelling in a quiet residential area. Secondly, gender needs to be determined. Typically sober living homes will be male only or female only. There are cases in which there may be combined genders, however special consideration and rules will need to be applied here. Regardless of gender, the house manager should be someone who has been sober for 6 months or longer; some experts even suggest a year or longer.

Your client must also develop criteria for their residents. They should ask themselves how they’ll determine if a person should reside in the house. Individuals who wish to become residents should be required to provide such information as identification, proof of residency in the U.S. and character references. It’s best to write a resident policy handbook that details residents’ rights and responsibilities. Included in the handbook should be a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Every resident should be supplied with the copy of the handbook, and be asked to sign a statement attesting that they agree with the house policies.

The final step your potential clients should take in opening a sober living home is creating a filing system for tax purposes. They should keep employee, resident, expense and income records, and all receipts for tax time. They should consider hiring an accountant or using a tax service to avoid any potential legal or financial difficulties down the line.

    Ferraris

    The F430

    Engine: 4.3 Liter V-8

    Top Speed: 196 MPH

    0 to 60 in: 4 seconds

The F430 was Ferrari’s flagship model from 2004 to 2009.  It has since been replaced by the 458 Italia, but that doesn’t diminish the speed or sexiness of the car in the least.

    The 458 Italia

    Engine: 4.5 Liter V-8

    Top Speed: 202 MPH

    0 to 60 in: 3.4 seconds

The 458 was unveiled in 2009 as a replacement for the 430, and indeed this car improves upon the already unbelievable success of that model.  But the 458 also incorporates new technology developed by Ferrari in its Formula 1 program, and that accounts for this car’s even better performance.
