Upcoming Tata Cars in India 2017 -Launch Date, Price, Images, tata cars.#Tata #cars

At least 8 New Tata Cars Coming to India By 2018

Tata Motors has witnessed a decline in sales in recent years due to quality niggles and the taxi market image. The Nano never really took off as expected and the Safari Storme failed to emulate its predecessor s success. The Aria MPV also flopped and Indica Vista and Manza have been witnessing dwindling sales. Tata has managed to recover slightly with the Tiago but there s still room for improvement. The manufacturer is now working on a slew of new launches including the Tiago-based compact sedan, a compact SUV and a lot more. Read on for details regarding all that upcoming Tata cars in India 2017, 2018.

Upcoming Tata Cars in India 2017

1. Tata Tiago Sport

Tata will not launch the Bolt Sport. Instead, it will launch a souped-up variant of the Tiago hatchback. Powering the Tata Tiago Sport will be a turbocharged 1.2-litre three cylinder engine. Max. power could be around 120 PS. We expect a price of Rs. 6-7 Lakhs. Tata Tiago Sport launch should happen by mid 2017.

2. Tata Tiago Aktiv

Tata also plans to launch the Tiago Aktiv. The Aktiv has been internally codenamed as the Tata Kite 4 and is a cross variant of the Tiago. It sports an accessory package that comprises of plastic body cladding, roof rails, sportier bumpers and some decals. The Aktiv could also get some more features. The Tiago Aktiv accessories are currently sold separately at the dealer level. However, Tata might start rolling out factory produced Tiago Aktiv variants since demand is good. Since the Aktiv will sport only cosmetic enhancements over the Tiago, it will remain mechanically unchanged.

3. Tata Nexon

Another new Tata that will be launched in 2017 is the Nexon compact SUV. With the Nexon s design, Tata has adopted a very different approach. The Nexon s biggest USP is its SUV-Coupe styling, which is nothing like anything we have seen in this segment so far. Even the cabin will be just as stylish. It will have features like a touchscreen audio system. Its styling will help set the Nexon apart from the current crop of compact SUVs. The Nexon will rival the Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra NuvoSport, etc. And it highly likely that people will opt for the Nexon based purely on its striking design. There have been conflicting reports regarding the Tata Nexon launch date with some reporting an early 2017 launch and other claiming it will come us only in the second half of 2017.

Specifications are purely speculative

4. Tata Bolt Sport

Once the most interesting of all the Upcoming Tata Cars in India, the Bolt Sport might not make it to production. It features new bumpers, alloys and many sporty bits. This car has a 1.2 L Turbo Petrol engine. Tata Motors was supposed to be planning to attract the enthusiasts with the Bolt Sport. However, the Bolt has not been a very successful product. So, Tata chose not to launch the Bolt Sport.

GST car rates: Heavy discounts of up to Rs 2.5 lakh on Hyundai, Mahindra and Tata cars

Tata cars

If you’re considering buying a new car before GST(Goods and Service Tax) rolls out on 1 July 2017 , then this might just be the best time for you in the year up till now. Luxury carmakers were the first to announce heavy discounts on their various models and now mass-market carmakers too have now joined the bandwagon. Ahead of GST’s implementation, various car manufacturers are offering lucrative discount deals on their cars, starting from Rs 15,000 and going all the way up to Rs 2.5 lakh. These benefits are being offered the in form of cash discount and exchange bonus too, depending on the make and model. Herein, we have compiled a list of discounts that you can avail at the dealerships of some of the most popular carmakers in India. These discounts may vary from dealership to dealership, depending on the city so we suggest you to get in touch with your nearest dealership for knowing the best deals.

Tata cars

Mahindra dealerships are offering discounts on KUV100, TUV300, Scorpio and the XUV500 models. These discounts range between Rs 15,000 to Rs 65,000; which are applicable in form of cash discount and exchange Bonus.

Tata Motors dealerships are offering heavy discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on two of its models, the Bolt and Zest, while the Hexa is available with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Other models in company’s profile like Tiago, Tigor and Safari are available without any discounts, as reported by a dealership.

Tata cars

Hyundai Motors dealerships are offering pre GST benefits on various models such as the Eon, Grand i10, Elite i20, old Xcent, 2017 Xcent, Verna and Santa Fe. The dealerships are giving discounts ranging between Rs 25,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh. In addition, Hyundai is also offering 100 percent on road finance on cars to its customers. This makes June, possibly the best month to buy a new car and the only other time when you might next be offered such lucrative deals could be around the festive season.

Tata Cars at Auto Expo 2018 – Upcoming Cars, New Launches by Tata, tata cars.#Tata #cars

Tata Cars at Auto Expo 2018

India s biggest auto show, the Auto Expo, is currently months away from greeting us again. However, it s pretty much for sure that the Auto Expo 2018 will be witness to a lot many new car launches and many new car unveiling. Tata Motors, one of the major players in Indian auto space, could come up with as many as seven new products at the next Delhi auto show. Other than unveiling a range of new models, it will also showcase the much publicized Tamo Racemo and C-Cube concept. The 2018 Auto Expo should be a really important event for Tata Motors. Let s take a look at Tata cars at Auto Expo 2018.

Tata cars

Tata Cars at Auto Expo 2018

Tata X451 (Maruti Baleno rival)

Tata cars

At the 2018 Auto Expo, Tata is likely to showcase the X451, a premium hatchback that will rival the likes of Maruti Baleno. The X451 will be underpinned by the Advance Modular Platform and is likely to get 1.2-litre Petrol and Diesel motors. It s said that the new hatchback s design will have inputs coming from Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)! Not much is currently known about this car, but safely expect it to get a modern design and a spacious cabin. Looking at the recent Tata products, it should be fairly safe to predict high fit-and-finish levels. This should be one of the most important Tata cars at Auto Expo 2018.

Tata Q501 (Tata-Land Rover SUV)

Tata cars

Another important upcoming Tata car that could debut at the Auto Expo 2018 is the Q501 (Tata Land Rover SUV). While the launch of the Tata Land Rover SUV is likely to happen only in the second-half of next year, it will definitely become the most premium Tata product ever. Expect it to come with a 2.0-litre Fiat-sourced Multijet Diesel engine and 4 4. Prices could start at Rs 22 lakh and the new model will go on to rival the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.

Tata Q502

Tata cars

Tata Motors is also likely to showcase the Q502 at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Q502 is basically a smaller, five-seater version of the Q501. The Q502 will be positioned slightly above the Hexa and will rival the likes of Hyundai Tucson. It will look a lot like the Q501, but will have smaller dimensions. Akin to the Q502, it will be underpinned by the Land Rover Discovery platform. We re hoping the Q502 gets the excellent Land Rover Terrain Response system. The Q502, much like the Q501, will become one of the major attractions at Tata stalls in the 2018 Delhi motor show.

New Tata sedan (Maruti Ciaz rival)

Tata cars

Expected to launch only by 2019, the next motor show in Delhi could see the debut of an all-new Tata sedan that will ultimately go on to rival the Maruti Ciaz. In all probability, Tata Motors will showcase a pre-production version of its upcoming sedan at the Auto Expo 2018. Akin to the upcoming premium hatchback, even this sedan will be based on Tata s Advance Modular Platform. Many styling elements could be shared with the Nexon compact SUV. The new model is expected to debut with all-new 1.5-litre Diesel and 1.2-litre Turbo petrol engines.

Tata Tigor Electric

Tata cars

Tata Motors has bagged an order to supply as many as 10,000 units of the Tigor Electric Vehicle to the Government of India. The price of the Tigor EV is Rs 10.16 lakh (excluding GST). Of course, there will be a different price once the car s market launch takes place. The Tigor shares its 85 kW motor with the Tiago EV. This electric motor outputs a peak torque of 200 Nm and has a range of approx 100 kmph. The car has a top speed of 135 kmph and can go from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 11 seconds.

Tata Tiago Electric

Tata cars

Another interesting model among the Tata cars at Auto Expo 2018 will be the Tiago electric. Basically an all-electric version of the Tiago hatchback, the upcoming Tata car could actually go on sale by 2019. Expect this EV to cost roughly Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom) when it goes on sale in near future.

Tata TaMo Racemo

Tata cars

This two-seater sportscar from Tata was unveiled at Geneva this year. However, the Racemo will make its India debut only at the Auto Expo 2018. This sports car is powered by a 1.2 L turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 6-speed AMT. Expect the upcoming Tata Tamo Racemo to cost around Rs. 25 lakh.

Tata Tamo C Cube

Tata cars

Tata might even showcase the C-Cube at the Auto Expo 2018. The Tamo C-Cube made its debut at the 2017 Future Decoded event in Mumbai. From the looks of it, this vehicle shares its underpinnings with the Tiago. It looks really modern and gets many Microsoft-enabled functionalities. It s not sure if this model will ever make it to the market, but in case it does, don t expect the launch to happen before 2020.

Car Windscreen Repair | How to use glass scratch remover to remove scratches from your windscreen

Car scratch removerIs your car windscreen or glass letting the side down? Are you seeking to find a windscreen and glass scratch remover to get rid of the annoying scratches in your glass? If like me and many other car enthusiasts you will strive to get the best possible shine on your paintwork, rims, tyres trim and any other part of your motor that gleams.

You then stand back only to be confronted by those horrid scratches in your windscreen glass but how can you get rid of them ? The following is a simple guide to removing wiper blade and other scratches from your car glass and windscreen:

Before you begin your glass scratch repair

The steps I will outline involve using nothing more than an ordinary variable speed electric drill found in most homes, some glass polish and polishing pads.

If the glass you are looking to repair is not toughened or tempered or laminated, it is very important to avoid generating too much heat. A carefully maintained water flow will keep the glass cool and reduce the chance of breakage.

    1. Clean the scratched or marked area making sure that it is completely free from dirt and dust
    2. Fill a spray bottle, pop bottle or glass with water
    3. Attach a polishing backing plate to your drill (see kit details at end of this blog post) and fit the polish pad to the plate
    4. Apply a small amount (about half a teaspoon) of glass polishing compound to the pad and place the face of the polishing pad to the affected area of the glass or windscreen
    5. Following your drill manufacturers instructions, start your drill. A speed of 2000 rpm is recommended with an absolute max of 2500 rpm
    6. Keeping the polishing face flat against your glass, move the drill with a slow swaying action, ensuring that your keep the movement and avoid stopping in one place. It is IMPORTANT to ensure that you DO NOT keep the pad in contact with the glass for longer that 20 seconds at a time as if the glass gets to hot it can crack
    7. When the polishing compound dries out, stop your drill and wet the pad with water and repeat the process until the scratches on your windscreen or glass are completely removed
    8. Keep the polishing pad wet and at regular intervals wipe the damaged or marked area to see if the scratches are still present
    9. Once finished simply use your regular glass cleaner to remove any residues from the polishing compound that may have splashed down the screen and hey presto your screen should be gleaming once again like the rest of your car.

The above outlines the general process needed to remove the majority of scratches most commonly caused by wiper blades. It is possible to remove deeper scratches from glass. This process is similar but simply involves applying a sequence of progressively finer abrasives.

Car Glass Scratch Remover Kit

Whether looking to remove wiper blade damage or more deeper windscreen scratches all the relevant compounds, plates and pads are now readily available in a Car Glass Scratch Remover Kit range. Simply click the link for more details.

    Research a used car

    about used cars

If you’ve come here looking for a used or certified pre-owned car, truck, SUV, crossover, hatchback, hybrid or convertible, then you’re in the right place. Edmunds has everything you need to know about buying or selling a used vehicle, including Carfax vehicle history reports, dealership listings and pricing information, expert car reviews, consumer car reviews, car dealership reviews, car price comparisons, car appraisal calculators, images and videos, technical features and specs, user forums and more.

At Edmunds, you’ll be able to browse thousands of used cars, trucks and SUVs for sale with special offers, appraise your current car, and research the car, SUV or truck of your dreams. You can limit your search to certified pre-owned (or CPO) vehicles for sale and be a click away from articles by our experts that will give you the best car shopping and buying tips and advice. Let’s take a closer look at each of these aids to easier used-car shopping.

The INVENTORY tab at the top of the page allows you to browse used cars for sale from popular makes such as Ford, Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Infiniti, Acura and Subaru. The inventory tool allows you to cast a much wider net than simply visiting your local dealership’s website. Start with the make and model of the vehicle that you’re interested in. You’ll have the option to refine your search by price, distance, model year and mileage. If you’re looking for specific options or features, a certain trim level or a specific color, there are more advanced search filters available, including engine type, fuel type, drivetrain, powertrain, airbags, air-conditioning and much more. After you find the car, SUV, truck or hybrid that you’re interested in, select the listing to check out the VIN details page for that vehicle and get more information. There you’ll find a description of the vehicle from the dealer, vehicle features and options, contact information for that dealership, dealer reviews, a ballpark insurance estimate, and a link to see a Carfax vehicle history report.

The APPRAISE tab at the top of the page lets you enter your car’s basic information, odometer reading, trim level, and overall condition. Then Edmunds provides you with the True Market Value (TMV) for your used car or vehicle. Edmunds’s True Market Value or used car value is is a great starting point for negotiation of a used-car sale between a private buyer and seller. This is an “as is” value that does not include any warranties. The final sales price depends on the car’s actual condition and local market factors. You can use this used car value estimate to price your car for sale or to negotiate a trade-in for a new, CPO, or previously owned car for sale from a local dealer. The used car value estimate is also useful for assessing retail pricing at a car dealer. You can try it out by clicking the “APPRAISE” tab, above. Once you enter your vehicle details, you will receive three estimates for your used car’s value: “Trade-in” is what you can expect a dealer to offer you for your used car; “Private Party” is what you might expect to earn if you sold the pre-owned vehicle yourself; and “Dealer Retail” is what you might expect to pay if you were buying this used model used at a dealership. If the vehicle is new enough, you’ll also see a price that says “Certified Used Price.” This price estimates what the dealership might sell it for as a certified pre-owned vehicle.

The RESEARCH tab points you to our expert analysis of the make and model of the car you select. You can read our editors’ reviews and learn about each generation of the vehicle you’re interested in. From there, you can narrow the focus of your car buying research by selecting a particular model year and learning more by checking out photos of the cars, researching local dealership listings, car valuation, consumer reviews, editors’ reviews, pros & cons, features & specs, and safety information. That’s a world of information. And we’ve put it all right at your fingertips.

Are you thinking about trading in your vehicle at the dealership or selling it yourself? Find out what your used car is worth with our True Market Value appraisal tool. Enter the year, make and model to get started. Make sure you know the options on your vehicle and the current odometer reading. Be honest about the condition level. Most cars will fall in the “average” to “clean” range.

The appraisal tool will give you three prices: “Trade-in” is what you can expect a dealer to offer you. “Private Party” is what you might expect to earn if you sold the vehicle yourself. “Dealer Retail” is what you might expect to pay if you were buying this model used at a dealership. If the vehicle is new enough, you’ll also see a price that says “Certified Used Price.” This price estimates what the dealer might sell it for as a CPO vehicle.

If you are hesitant about buying a traditional used car, you may want to consider a certified pre-owned vehicle. These vehicles tend to be newer, have gone through a more detailed inspection process and come with a limited warranty. The Edmunds inventory tool will have an option to sort the list to show only CPO vehicles. You can also go directly to the CPO cars page.

Explore Car-Buying Articles: If you’re unsure about the next steps in buying a used car — or car buying in general — Edmunds has research articles that can help. Take a look at those we’ve linked to on this page, or visit our research main page for a full list of articles that have been written by Edmunds car-shopping experts.

    Boultbee-Brooks Triple Double

    7th October, 2017

    Club car

Steve Boultbee-Brooks once again triumphed in both FISCAR races at Castle Combe. He loves the circuit and both his Aston Martin DB3S and his driving style seem to suit the circuit perfectly, as he is yet to be toppled from top spot in our 6 races run there in the last 3 years

    Photo – Jeff Bloxham

Steve Boultbee-Brooks and his Aston Martin DB3S proved once again to be invincible in our two races at Castle Combe retaining the Jon Gross Memorial Trophy chased gamely home by Martyn Corfield in his invitation Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica and then taking victory in the FISCAR Inter-Marque race for the third time in succession. In the latter he was subjected to some interesting tactical racing by a pair of the Lotus Elites, and Robin Ellis in Tony Mantle’s example finished second just over 3 seconds behind after 30 minutes of racing.

    Club car

In the Jon Gross Memorial Trophy, the GT class winner was, very appropriately, Chris Woodgate, driving Jon’s Ex Sebring Aston Martin DB MkIII which is still retained by the Gross family. Here Chris is seen ahead of the Aston Martin Brooklands driven by Mark Gillies who again won the Mort Goodall Cup for prewar Astons.

In a small grid further depleted by retirements, Brian Arculus, after a very brief early challenge from Nigel Winchester’s special bodied AC Ace, cruised his Lotus Elite to victory ahead of Kevin Kivlochan’s AC Ace Bristol and Jim Campbell’s Austin Healey 100/4.

    BDC, Silverstone, 5th August, 2017

Jonathan Abecassis, sharing his car with Richard Woolmer, won the FISCARInter-Marque race. Photo – Mick Walker

After a poor start from pole, Jonathan Abecassis in his familiar Austin Healey 100/4, later handing over to Richard Woolmer, took victory in our Inter-Marque round last Saturday. They were chased home by long time leader, Stephen Bond, in the splendid Lister ‘Flatiron’ Bristol, with Robin Ellis, last year’s winner, taking 3rd place in Tony Mantle’s Lotus Elite after a terrific recovery drive from 16th at the end of lap 2. The race was also marked by a dramatic accident in Luffield when a set of wheel studs on Paul Ziller’s Triumph TR2 snapped and launched the car into a roll, finishing on its roof in the gravel. Fortunately, Paul emerged under his own steam from the car and after a check up at the medical centre was given a clean bill of health which was decidedly more than could be said of the TR. Remarkably, however Paul has entered the car for our Donington race on 2nd September!

Later in the day Jonathan completed the double by comfortably winning the Chairman’s Bic Healey Trophy race.

Full race reports will follow in due course. ——-JT

Once again a superb grid of FISCAR cars lined up at VSCCs Spring Start meeting, our first race of the 2017 season, and once again the cars starred. The race was very eventful and we had at least three different leaders and there was much dicing through the field. The best of these was that of erstwhile race leader, James Cottingham recovering from a spin in the Ferrari 500TRC, and poleman, Guillermo Fierro Eleta, first time out in his gorgeous Maserati 300S who made a poor start and got swamped. The battle which at the time was for 2nd, was only broken up by the compulsory pitstop, taken by James but missed out altogether by Guillermo with inevitable consequences! Whilst all this was going on, Chris Keen was maintaining a few seconds lead in the Kurtis and eventually ran out the winner but only after Cottingham who had emerged ahead of him in the pitstops, retired the Ferrari 5 laps from the end with overheating. Steve Boultbee-Brooks took the fantastic sounding Aston Martin DB3S to a fine second and Jonathan Abecassis emerged from an epic 3 way Austin Healey battle to take 3rd overall. Mark Hoble, resting his TR2, took the Index of Performance win in his Turner Mk1. The Lotus Elite Team (Lotus Legends) won the team award, and were chased home by the two Austin Healey teams, The Healey Hares and The Healey Hounds.

Full report now ready – See ‘Special Races’ in the menu.

Meanwhile a couple more images below:

Recalling halcyon days! The Ferrari gets up the inside of the Maserati at Woodcote but giving away a litre was usually behind at the end of the straights. Note the fuel filler flap which had popped up when James spun the Ferrari into Brooklands whilst in the lead. Photo John Turner

In a race of attrition, Mark Hoble rose to 9th place overall in his Turner, capturing victory in the Index of Performance category.

    Exciting FISCAR 2017 Season Ahead

FISCAR has organised an exciting 6 race series for the coming season. All races will be run over 30 minutes and include a compulsory pit stop, in order to allow a second driver to participate. There are no shared grids.

We are also adding a pre 52 sports car race to the Bentley Drivers Club meeting on 5th August. More details below:-

    FISCAR Inter-Marque Dates for 2017

April 22nd – Silverstone Club – VSCC Spring Start

    “The Tom Cole Trophy Race”

Our annual season starter at VSCC’s popular Spring Start meeting. This race pits our usual Inter-Marque cars against a few Chairmen’s Invitation cars. It was over subscribed last year

    May 29th – Brands Indy – MSCC FISCAR Inter-Marque

We again join the Morgan Sports Car Club, this time, on a rare visit for us, to the Brands Indy Circuit. Let’s break the mould for both MSCC and the Brands circuit by providing them with a top class grid.

June 10th – Oulton Park – VSCC “The Blaster Bates Trophy”

After an absence of a year, we return to this lovely circuit, to run the Blaster Bates Trophy for only the second time. The current holder of the Trophy, Mike Freeman, in his Lotus Elite, had a superb dice with Jonathan Abecassis in his Austin Healey 100/4 in 2015, but the grid was numerically low, so we need to do much better this time.

    August 5th – Silverstone Club – BDC – FISCAR Inter-Marque

The Bentley Drivers Club has revamped this meeting to reinforce the wonderful old club style feel that has always existed at this event, and FISCAR has increased it’s commitment and input. As well as our usual Inter-Marque race, we are running the King George VI Cup for invited pre 52 sports cars – *See separate box below for more details*.

In addition to the above, your Chairman is again running, on his own account, the Bic Healey Trophy which includes the AC v Austin Healey team challenge. All FISCAR compliant Austin Healeys and ACs are eligible and they will be joined by Special bodied Sprites and appropriate Invitation cars.

    September 2/3rd – Donington Park – BARC – FISCAR Inter-Marque

    More details to follow.

October 7th – Castle Combe Autumn Classic – FISCAR Inter-Marque

Once again our season finale where we have consistently provided our best grid of the season. We will again also be running the Jon Gross Memorial Trophy, primarily for Pre 1960 Feltham Aston Martins and the Mort Goodall Cup for prewar Aston Martins.

    *The King George VI Cup*

FISCAR, in conjunction with the Bentley Drivers Club, are adding a new format race for 2017. The event will be for Sports and GT cars produced in the 1938 – 1951 era, but will include certain models that were introduced before that date if production continued into that period, such as Aston Martin 15/98 and BMW 328. The race will be titled the “George VI Cup”.

The 20 minute race will be run on the Silverstone National circuit on August 5th 2017. It will be open, by invitation only, to models with competition provenance that were built in the era. Cars must run to the specifications that they ran and looked as they did in period. As a guide, cars that ran at Le Mans in the 1938 – 1951 period and in the early postwar Spa 24 hour races are particularly the models that are most eligible.

Typical eligible cars will include original specification Jaguar XK 120, V12 Lagonda, Fraser Nash LMR, Healey Silverstone, Connaught L2, Jowett Jupiter, HRG 1500, Talbot T26, Aston Martin Speed Model and DB2, Riley Sprite and many more.
